Kishor Kanyal was dismissed by the Madhya Pradesh government from his position as district collector of Shajapur for questioning the “aukat” (status) of a driver in the midst of a truckers’ protest.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday that his administration would not accept the rhetoric of this like when announcing the decision to remove Kanyal from the position of a collector.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) claims that Yadav’s orders led to Kanyal’s dismissal from his position as Shajapur collector. Kanyal was moved to the position of state deputy secretary by an order issued by the state government on Wednesday. Shajapur’s new collector is Riju Bafna, a collector from Narsinghpur.

Tuesday at a meeting with union leaders, Kanyal lost his temper. He subsequently apologized to everyone he may have offended. CM Yadav responded to the incident by saying, “We work for the uplift of the poor under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” No matter how large an officer is, he still has to be considerate of the poor people’s labor and sentiments. This type of talk will not be accepted by our government as a human person.

Yadav said that he is a laborer’s kid. “on my opinion, officers who use such language are unfit to remain on the field. I anticipate that the individual assigned to that position (the Shajapur collector) will monitor any inappropriate conduct. This hurts me, the CM said.

A representative of divers requested the collector to speak politely, and in a video clip that went viral on Tuesday, he was shown advising drivers and others not to enforce the law on their own.

Furious, Kanyal questioned the individual, “Kya karoge tum, kya aukat hai tumhari?” In response, the guy said that the reason they are waging this struggle is because they lack “aukat” (social status).

And with that, a cop swept the guy from the scene. A gathering of over 250 truck and bus drivers was called on Tuesday, according to a video that Kanyal subsequently uploaded on the district collector’s official X account. This was the day after several truck and bus drivers caused a disturbance and organized demonstrations.

“I used these remarks because I thought one of them was attempting to agitate others and threaten to deepen the stir. The meeting was called to urge them to address their grievances democratically. “I apologize if my words have caused harm to anyone,” he stated. But no one will be permitted to have the law in their hands, he said.
