Mumbai: A shocking case has come to light from Mumbai in Maharashtra. The body of a girl has been recovered in suspicious condition from her flat in Powai. DCP Dutta Nalawade of Mumbai Police has confirmed this. The deceased girl was a trainee air hostess and had recently been selected. The girl has been identified as Rupal Ogre. She was from Chhattisgarh and lived in a flat with her elder sister and boyfriend. Both had gone to the village for the last 8 days.
Police initially say that the girl was murdered by slitting her throat with a knife. The police are examining the phone of the victim girl and the CCTV installed in the building. In this case, a person working in the building has been detained.
Last night, information was received at Powai police station in Mumbai that a dead body of a girl was found in a suspicious condition in a flat in a building. As soon as this news came out, sensation spread in the entire area. According to DCP Dutta Nalawade of Mumbai Police, the dead body of a 20 to 25 year old girl was found in suspicious condition in NG Housing Society located on Marwah Road within the limits of Powai Police Station. The police team that reached the spot did the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
According to the DCP, four teams have been formed to nab the accused by registering a case of murder in the matter. Although who was this deceased girl, since when and why was she living alone in the flat and what is the reason for the murder? This matter is being investigated.
