The assistant pilot of the private jet which met with an accident at Mumbai airport on Thursday has been admitted to another hospital. Actually the assistant pilot has suffered a serious spinal injury, which requires surgery. The condition of other passengers is stable. Let us tell you that on Thursday, a private jet met with an accident while landing at Mumbai airport. Assistant pilot Neil Divan suffered a spinal injury in the accident, for which he has been shifted to another hospital for surgery. Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, Director of Criticare Asia Hospital located in Andheri, Mumbai gave this information.
Dr. Namjoshi said that the condition of the other seven people is stable but their health is being monitored. The plane had taken off from Visakhapatnam airport in Andhra Pradesh and met with an accident while landing at Mumbai airport due to bad weather. At the time of the plane accident, there were a total of eight people on board, apart from two crew members. The aircraft that was the victim of the accident was Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL of VSR Ventures Company.
Dr. Namjoshi told that due to spinal cord injury, assistant pilot Neel Dewan is not getting sensation in his legs and is currently paralyzed. The assistant pilot needs immediate surgery and has decided to get the surgery done by a doctor he knows. Due to this, Neel Dewan has been admitted to Kokila Ben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Thursday night itself.
Sunil Kanjarbhat, the pilot of the plane who was victim of the accident, suffered chest and spinal injuries but his condition is stable. Dhruv Kotak, a passenger on the plane, sustained injuries to his right hand and a slight head injury. There were also two passengers from Denmark on board the plane, both of whom suffered injuries in the chest and upper back, the condition of both is stable.
