Mumbai: Dead body of a woman police sub-inspector attached to Nehru Nagar police station in Mumbai found at her home. Neighbors informed the police late on Wednesday evening. According to the police, the name of the deceased woman police sub-inspector is Sheetal Adke, who lived on rent on the 5th floor of the Sharad Co-operative Society in Kamgar Nagar.
Police entered the house by breaking the door
Sheetal was on sick live for few days. When the neighbors informed about foul smell coming from her room, the police took the help of the fire brigade and entered inside by breaking open the door. As soon as the police entered the house, Sheetal’s body was found lying in the kitchen.
Body was sent for postmortem
The dead body was completely charred. In the initial investigation, the police do not find anything suspicious. At present, the forensic team has also been called. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. Nehru Nagar Police is investigating further by registering a case under ADR.
