Mumbai Local Turns Dance Performance Into Cringe-inducing Online Video Of A Woman Doing Lavani

Share

To the dismay of bystanders, Mumbai’s local train has developed beyond its intended use as a means of transportation and has now turned into a platform for attention-seeking acts. This was recently shown when a video of a lady doing the Lavani dance on a train went viral, making internet people cringe and despised the practice and wishing it would stop in the metro.

The lady can be seen doing Lavani dance steps on the internet video while wearing a pink Nauvari saree. Lavani dance is a traditional style that blends song and dance and is often accompanied by the sounds of a Dholki, a percussion instrument. The woman’s casual dancing aboard Mumbai’s local train, which is often saved for stage performances or special events, highlighted the general indifference and collective embarrassment of the travelers.

“Earlier, #BellyDancing was performed inside local trains in Mumbai. Now it’s Maharashtra’s time to use #Lavni. Trains and railroad stations appear to be the ideal venues to display dancing skills, according to the description of the video posted to the microblogging website ‘X’.

The video received a tremendous reaction from viewers, with one saying, “Most challenging 30 sec…I liked the girl behind me’s attitude. Ye kya chal raha hai bhai was the text of another remark. Incredibly foolish, inko reality shows nahi milte kya.

It won’t be long until a separate ticket is given, and (maybe) an SPCL bus for this piece of c**p, said a third user. A fourth user added, “Won’t be too long when there’ll be a separate ticket issued, and (possibly) a spcl coach for this piece of c**p!”

Prior to that, a video of a lady doing a belly dance inside of a moving train attracted interest. She performed while wearing royal blue clothing, twerking and dancing to a catchy music that elicited a similar reaction from the internet community.
