Mumbai Reports 10 New Cases And One Death For COVID-19

Mumbai reported 10 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the city’s total infection count to 11,64,108; one patient died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 19,776, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

However, the death that was reported on Wednesday really happened earlier and not this month, according to a health department official. In Mumbai, there have already been two fatalities connected to the coronavirus in less than a month. A 68-year-old patient passed away from the illness on July 6.

Tuesday saw seven Covid-19 instances registered in the city but no fatalities. This is the second time in August that it has recorded double-digit Covid-19 instances. The city saw ten instances on August 6.

Four additional people recovered from the respiratory ailment, bringing the total number of recoveries to 11,44,285, according to the report, leaving 47 current cases in the city. A total of 292 tests were administered in the city today, bringing the overall number of exams to 1,89,17,951, according to the municipal organization.
