The number of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai increased by two on Thursday, bringing the total to 11,63,969, and one elderly patient died as a result of the illness, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
According to a BMC notice, one more death brought the total to 19,775, and the dead was a 68-year-old male with comorbid conditions. This was the second death in Mumbai this week due to the coronavirus. A 57-year-old woman had passed away on Tuesday as a result of the viral illness.
The financial center had two Covid-19 instances and no fatalities as of Wednesday. According to the announcement, 625 tests were carried out in the city, bringing the total number of tests to 1,89,01,960.
Four additional individuals recovered from the respiratory ailment, bringing the total number of recoveries to 11,44,173, the report stated. This left 21 ongoing cases in the city.
