Mumbai Water Cut Until March 29 | Check Affected Areas

Due to damage to a crucial pipeline, portions of Mumbai will continue to have limited water supplies until March 29.

In 11 municipal wards in Mumbai’s eastern suburbs and island city, as well as for 48 hours commencing at 10 p.m. on March 27 until 9 p.m. on March 29, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) imposed a 15% water reduction.

Civic authorities claim that the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation damaged a water supply main while building a box culvert (MSRDC).

REGIONS AFFECTED BY WATER CUT

Residents in the following wards will experience issues as a result of the water cut: A ward (Churchgate, Colaba), B ward (Dongri, Sandhurst Road), E ward (Byculla), F/South ward (Parel), and F/North ward (Antop Hill, Sion).

The impacted regions include T ward (Mulund), S ward (Bhandup, Nahur, Kanjurmarg, and Vikhroli), N ward (Vikhroli, Ghatkopar), L ward (Kurla), and M/East in the eastern suburbs (Govandi, Shivaji Nagar).
