Naxalites have once again targeted the soldiers in Chhattisgarh. Three CRPF personnel were injured in the IED blast in Bijapur on Monday morning. The condition of one of these jawans is critical. All the three jawans have been admitted to the district hospital. Seeing his condition, preparations are on to airlift him to Raipur for better treatment. The incident took place in Gangalur police station area.
Police officers told that CRPF 222nd and 85th battalion personnel had left from Pusnar on Monday morning for area domination. The jawans were moving towards Gangalur, meanwhile, at around 10.30 am, the Naxalites blasted the IED near Takmeta hill. Vishal of 222nd Battalion, Rifan Sahu and Amit Kumar of 85th Battalion were injured in its grip.
Among the injured jawans, Vishal has suffered injuries on his hands and legs and internal injuries. At the same time, Rifan Sahu has got internal injuries in his neck. While Amit Kumar of 85th Battalion is seriously injured. His leg has been badly damaged due to the blast. Apart from this, there have also been chest and internal injuries. Preparations are being made to refer the three jawans to Raipur after first aid. It is being told that the Naxalites had already planted the IED.
