On Sunday night, a landslide on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway took place close to the town of Adoshi in the Raigad district, blocking traffic’s path to the state capital, according to a police officer. According to him, the landslide occurred at 10:30 night with no injuries.
The three lanes of the motorway heading towards Mumbai were severely impacted by the landslide since boulders and dirt obstructed the road. The event caused the traffic heading into Mumbai to halt, he added.
According to him, the path was cleared using a JCB machine, around 25 dumpers, and the presence of police and staff from other agencies.
