On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a book of stamps featuring Lord Ram from all around the globe as well as commemorative postal stamps featuring the Ram shrine in Ayodhya.
The Ram temple, the chaupai “Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,” the Sun, the Saryu river, and the sculptures within and outside the temple are among the elements of the design, according to officials. The Ram Temple, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj, and Ma Shabri are the six stamps, they said.
The 48-page stamp book, which includes stamps from over 20 nations like the US, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia, and organizations like the UN, is an effort to highlight Lord Ram’s plea on a global scale.
The five physical elements—sky, air, fire, earth, and water—are mirrored via diverse design components and build their perfect harmony, which is necessary for all manifestations, they said. A gold leaf of sun rays and “chaupai” provide a magnificent emblem to this small sheet.
