On the anniversary of Gujarat and Maharashtra’s founding, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent greetings to the public on Monday.
“Best wishes on Maharashtra Day,” he tweeted. The state is fortunate to have a wonderful culture and diligent citizens who have enhanced national growth in a variety of fields. In the next years, may Maharashtra continue to progress, I pray.
He tweeted “Greetings on Gujarat Sthapana Diwas” in another message. Gujarat has become well-known for both its overall development and its own culture. I want God to help the state reach unprecedented levels of growth in the coming years.
Following the linguistic division of the former state of Bombay, both states were created on this day in 1960.
