Opposition Parties Agreed To Attend The General Meeting To Be Held In Patna On June 23, Many Veterans Will Gather

New Delhi: A general meeting of several political parties of the opposition is going to be held on June 23 in Patna, the capital of Bihar. There will be a gathering of many political veterans of the country to chalk out a strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This meeting was to be held first on May 19 and then on June 12. But it was postponed due to the absence of top leaders of all parties. But on June 23, prominent leaders of all parties have given their consent.

National President of Janata Dal United (JDU) Lallan Singh has said, “President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi from Congress party have agreed to attend this meeting. Along with this, TMC chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party (SP) president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Shiv Sena president and former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray , Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, DMK (DMK) president and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, CPI (CPI) secretary D Raja, CPM ( CPM) Sitaram Yechury, Male CPI(M) Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya have also given their consent to attend the meeting.”

The JDU president said, “The opposition will unite and contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. An undeclared emergency is in force in the country today. No one can say anything. If someone takes a word out of his mouth, action should be initiated against him immediately.” That’s why there is a need for the opposition to unite today. There is a need to make the country BJP-free. Opposition unity will play an important role in this.”

RJD leader and Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav said, “I myself have met many leaders along with Nitish Kumar. I think everyone is coming on one platform. The situation in the country, on democracy The attack is taking place. The constitution is being tampered with. The issue is not being talked about. Unilateral dictatorial attitude is being adopted. In view of this, an important meeting is being held in Patna. I think a positive result after this meeting will emerge.”
