PM Modi Will Launch Nine New Trains On These Routes; Check Details About Vande Bharat Express

On September 24, nine new Vande Bharat trains, including two services on the South Central Railways (SCR), will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to an official announcement. The eight carriages each train of the nine Vande Bharat trains.

The new Vande Bharat trains will travel along the following routes: Jamnagar to Ahmedabad, Chennai to Hyderabad, Patna to Howrah, Ranchi to Howrah, Indore to Jaipur, Jaipur to Udaipur, Puri to Rourkela, Patna to Chandigarh, Jaipur to Chandigarh, and Chennai to Tirunelveli.

A second Vande Bharat train for Kerala will travel the following new routes: Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram; Jaipur to Udaipur; Vijayawada to Chennai; Tirunelveli to Chennai; Jamnagar to Ahmedabad; Ranchi to Howrah; Secunderabad (Kacheguda) to Bengaluru (Yesvantpur); Rourkela to Puri; and Patna to Howrah.

According to reports, the 530-passenger Vande Bharat train service between Kacheguda and Yesvantpur would be the quickest train on the route with the shortest travel time.

The first and quickest train on the Vijayawada-MGR Chennai Central line will be the Vande Bharat. Additionally, West Bengal would get two additional Vande Bharat train services between the twin towns of Howrah and Kolkata along the Patna-Howrah and Ranchi-Howrah lines.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will be present for the event, which will be conducted by video conference.

The new Vande Bharat will have saffron and gray paint instead of the traditional white and blue. The new services will provide quicker and better interstate communication.

On February 15, 2019, Prime Minister Modi signaled the start of the inaugural Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Varanasi. On Saturday, the Prime Minister will visit Varanasi to lay the cornerstone for a number of development projects.

The locally produced Vande Bharat trains demonstrate India’s technical capabilities and support the “Make in India” movement.

The Vande Bharat trains now travel 25 active routes.
