The NCP filed a disqualification case with the assembly speaker Rahul Narwekar against its nine leaders after NCP leader Ajit Pawar and eight other party leaders joined the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition in Maharashtra on Sunday.
“We have submitted a petition for disqualification to the assembly’s speaker, and we will deliver physical copies as soon as we can. Nine politicians were named in this disqualification petition, according to NCP leader Jayant Patil. They didn’t tell anybody they were leaving the party, which is against the NCP, he said. Additionally, we sent a letter to the Indian Election Commission. These nine leaders did not notify us in advance of doing this (leaving the party), and we will not tolerate it.
He said, “We think the majority of the MLAs will return to the NCP, and we will welcome them again.
Ajit Pawar, the head of the NCP, earlier took the oath as deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, joining the National Democratic Alliance administration in the state along with eight other party members in an unexpected development that in some ways echoed the split in the Shiv Sena over a year ago.
All MLAs, according to Ajit Pawar, are with him and have joined the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government as a party.
“All the numbers are here. Every MLA is with me. As a group, we are present. We also told all of the seniors. In a democracy, the majority is given priority. After taking the oath of office as Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, Ajit Pawar remarked, “Our party is 24 years old, and youthful leadership should come up.
The Deputy CM said that the next expansion will include the addition of a few more ministries.
“We decided to join the Shinde-Fadanvis administration with almost all of the NCP’s MLAs. We took the oath, and the next expansion will add a few more ministers, according to Ajit Pawar.
NCP Leader Ajit Pawar was sworn in as Maharashtra’s second Deputy Chief Minister by state governor Ramesh Bais.
It is “painful” for Ajit Pawar to join the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis Maharashtra Government, but Supriya Sule, the working president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and Supriya Sule, a member of parliament, indicated on Sunday that their connection with him would not change.
“Ajit Pawar will always be my older brother, and our bond won’t alter. The party will be rebuilt, according to NCP MP Supriya Sule.
Whatever took place was awful. Since Sharad Pawar treated everyone like a member of the family and is our senior leader, Sule said, “I don’t believe speaking after his speech would be accurate.
“We live in a democratic country where everyone has the right to speak for themselves and keep their points,” Sharad Pawar retorted. The action taken by Ajit Pawar was a judgement and viewpoint of his own.
Sharad Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party, said, “This is not ‘googly,’ it is a robbery,” and expressed concern for those who left the party, hours after Ajit Pawar and a few other NCP officials joined the Maharashtra administration.
