Pune Airport: Police File Charges Against 72-Year-Old Woman For Bomb Hoax That Created Panic

At Pune’s Lohegaon International Airport, police detained a 72-year-old lady who reportedly intimidated airport employees by alleging explosives were connected to her body.

According to media sources, the suspect has been identified as Nita Prakash Kripalani, 72, a resident of Gurgaon Industrial Complex’s Surya Vihar Udyog Vihar.

On Friday, when Kriplani passed through security checks before boarding a domestic aircraft, she reportedly told the on-guard CISF officials that explosives were connected to her body. when a result, the security team started emergency procedures to handle the situation.

Passengers and employees nearby were promptly moved to a safe distance as a precaution, and the airport’s security was tightened.

The elderly lady was promptly taken into custody by the CISF officers who then undertook a comprehensive check to determine the veracity of her accusations. Following the examination, the authorities came to the conclusion that the woman’s accusation was totally bogus and nothing more than an idiotic effort to stir up trouble.

The CISF soldiers eventually turned the lady over to the neighborhood police.She has received notification from the Vimantal police, who have also filed a case against her in accordance with IPC sections 505 and 182.
