Gandhi subsequently said, “If farmers are happy, then India is happy,” in a post on X.

MSP for paddy is Rs. 2,640 per quintal; input subsidy of Rs. 23,000 crore to 26 lakh farmers; loan waiver of Rs. 10,000 crore to 19 lakh farmers; energy cost halved; and 5 lakh agricultural laborers get an annual salary of Rs. 7,000. a prototype that we want to implement across India.”
Following the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress won power and the Bhupesh Baghel administration went on to implement all of these programs.
