Rains Will Cause Havoc In Maharashtra; Orange Alert, Latest Weather Forecast For These Districts

Mumbai: Monsoon has been active in various districts of Maharashtra for the last two days and rains are continuing continuously. Rain has been present in most of the areas including Mumbai, Pune.

Due to this, the citizens suffering from drought have got some relief. A low pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is moving towards North Odisha and Jharkhand. Also, from the coast of Maharashtra to the coast of Karnataka, it is seen that the condition of clouds has formed.

A cyclonic wind condition has developed in the Northeast Arabian Sea. Against this backdrop, Monsoon will remain active and heavy showers are predicted at isolated places in Mahamumbai area on Monday. Orange alert has been issued for Mumbai along with Palghar, Thane districts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

An orange alert has been issued for Raigad for the next four days and for Ratnagiri till Tuesday. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Sindhudurga till Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Department. Madhya Maharashtra is also likely to receive heavy rain in the next 48 hours.
