Indians residing in the United States and other nations have begun celebrating with great pomp as the much-awaited “pran-pratishtha,” or consecration ceremony, of the magnificent Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches. They are demonstrating their unbounded joy and reverence for this historic occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to take part in the consecration ceremony at the recently built Ram Mandir on Monday, January 22, ensuring that Ayodhya is ready to receive Lord Ram.
The Indian diaspora displayed large images of Lord Ram in Times Square in New York. The Ram Mandir “pran-pratishtha” ceremony will be celebrated at over a dozen locations across the US. According to news agency ANI, festivities are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles concurrently with the ceremony in India.

Among the states where the billboards have been installed are Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia. Arizona and Missouri are also scheduled to participate in this visual celebration that started on January 15, according to the American branch of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).
The VHP has placed more than 40 billboards in ten states and more, in collaboration with Hindus from all over the US, with the message centred around the historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual at the birthplace of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.
The Hindu-American community in the US has organised numerous automobile rallies and numerous other events leading up to the major celebration in honour of the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
“I have nothing to say today. It is a great day today, Alok Kumar, the international working president of the VHP, told news agency PTI. “The pain of 25 generations, challenges, struggles, sacrifices, and their conclusion into Ram Mandir and Lord Ram’s pran-pratishtha… it is a wonderful day today.”
With Prime Minister Narendra Modi slated to take part in the consecration ceremony at the recently built Ram Mandir on Monday, the temple town of Ayodhya is ready to welcome Lord Ram.
People from all walks of life, including dignitaries and representatives of the nation’s leading spiritual and religious figures, as well as members of different tribal groupings, will be present for the “pran pratishtha” of the Ram Lalla idol, which is the childhood form of Lord Ram.
The Indian diaspora in Mauritius recite the “Ramayan Path” and light “diyas” at temples. They are getting ready to ignite a “diya” in each of Mauritius’ temples. The symbolic action seeks to weave a bright tapestry throughout the country of islands, symbolising a common respect for Lord Ram.
The government of Mauritius has declared that on January 22, Hindu public officers will have a special two-hour break.
Vibrant celebrations are also taking place in the UK as temples prepare for the major Ayodhya ceremony. Brimming with excitement, Slough Hindu Temple is about to commemorate the ‘pran-pratishtha’ event of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. In the UK, there are over 250 Hindu temples.
An automobile rally in London was also planned by the Indian diaspora in the UK. ‘Jai Shri Ram’ was shouted by rally attendees, and Lord Rama-themed music was performed.
In Australia, hundreds of temples have organised a number of events in response to the growing enthusiasm and expectation surrounding the Ram temple festival.
The Indian community in Sydney marked the day with a car rally on Saturday. Attracting hundreds of ‘Ram Bhakts’ and neighbours, the event featured more than 100 automobiles.
Goddess Sita’s birthplace, Janakpurdham in Nepal, is currently overflowing with excitement as it prepares for the occasion with great grandeur and revelry, planning a plethora of festivities.
The city is filled with the sound of Lord Ram’s and Sita’s hymns. The shrine of Janaki is adorned with lights.
