It is expected that Rohit Sharma won’t be burdened by the pressure of others’ expectations given his expertise.
After all, with five championship victories, the captain of the Mumbai Indians is the most successful captain in IPL history. Sharma is aware of the attention and pressure that come with being the Mumbai Indians’ representative.
“We’ll always face expectations wherever we play, not only in the IPL. Because I’ve been playing for so long, I don’t mind and I’m not concerned about what people are expecting of me, Sharma remarked during a news conference. “We are aware that we must give it our all to take home the trophy. You’re putting pressure on yourself if you keep thinking about it constantly, he said.
Dewald Brevis and Tilak Verma will both be participating in their second seasons, but the IPL may be on the young Cameron Green’s mind because of his multi-million dollar contract.
“I don’t want to put them (young people) under too much strain at this time. We shall assign them those exact duties closer to the start of our first game. Guys are aware of what we anticipate from them going into that first game, of course,” Sharma said. “But the last thing I’ll do is put them under excessive strain.”
