The war between Russia and Ukraine has become more fierce. Russia attacked the colossal Kakhovka Dam in Kherson province amid continuous attacks and retaliatory attacks from Ukraine. The dam collapsed due to this Russian blast, due to which billions of gallons of water have flown away. Due to this, many small towns and low-lying areas of Ukraine have been inundated. Water has started filling the houses. A large number of affected people are forced to migrate. Not only humans but a large number of animals are also affected.
Antonvika city is completely submerged
Kakhovka dam was blown up. Ukraine has blamed Russia for this act. But Russia bluntly said that it has nothing to do with this incident. On the other hand, about 30 villages and towns are in the grip of flood due to the dam breach, and thousands of houses have been submerged. Kajkova Dibrova Zoo, about 1.7 km from Kakhovka Dam, has been completely submerged in water. Many wildlife have been killed. The town of Antonavika was completely submerged in water.
Many dead bodies floating in the water, claims Zelensky
Ukraine’s President Zelensky claims that people’s bodies are floating in the water in the areas which are facing floods after the Kakhovka dam on the Dnieper River broke. Satellite photos remain the witness of this dreadful scene. Many people have died due to floods. The war between Russia and Ukraine is going on since 24 February 2022.
