The Mumbai Traffic Police received a threatening message on their WhatsApp account, specifically requesting ₹5 crore from Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan. The news agency ANI reported this, citing the Mumbai Police as the source of the information. According to reports, the sender threatened that “Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique” if the money was not delivered.
This is not something to be taken lightly; if Salman Khan wishes to continue living and put an end to his animosity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he would be required to pay ₹5 crore. According to ANI, the sender asserted that if the money is not provided, Salman Khan’s condition will be even more severe than Baba Siddique’s.
The Mumbai Police have reported that an investigation has been initiated into the case.
On the evening of October 12, Baba Siddique, a Nationalist Congress Party leader and a former minister in Maharashtra, was killed by gunfire outside the office of his son Zeeshan Siddique, who was a member of the Legislative Assembly, in the posh neighbourhood of Bandra in Mumbai.
As of right now, the police have taken into custody four individuals. These individuals include Gurmail Baljit Singh, a 23-year-old resident of Haryana; Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, a 19-year-old native of Uttar Pradesh; Harishkumar Balakram Nisad, who is also 23 years old; and Pravin Lonkar, a “co-conspirator” and the brother of Shubham Lonkar and an individual from Pune.
There is a plot to kill Salman Khan, and a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is located in Haryana.
A day after the Navi Mumbai Police said that they had detained a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with an alleged conspiracy to kill Salman Khan, the threat mail for Salman Khan was sent out.
An official told the Press Trust of India (PTI) that the accused, Sukha, also known as Sukhbir Balbir Singh, was taken into custody on Wednesday from Panipat in the state of Haryana by a squad of Panvel Town police (in Navi Mumbai).
