In connection with a death threat made against Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut under the alias of imprisoned criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, one individual from Pune was caught. According to the Mumbai Police, the suspect will also be questioned about the threat mail sent to superstar Salman Khan.
Raut claims to have received a text message and a phone call threatening to shoot him with an AK-47 rifle if he is seen in New Delhi. The head of the Shiv Sena (UBT) has complained about this.
“I have informed the police about the threat call, but I don’t believe they will take any more action. The call came to me yesterday night. Every time I alert the administration and home minister to similar threats, they make fun of me and claim it’s a ruse. According to Raut, the administration is actively supporting terrorism, hooliganism, and rioting.
A police official confirmed the event, saying, “Sanjay Raut got death threats that he would suffer the same fate as Sidhu Moose Wala. From the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, he received the threat. According to the message, if you two met in Delhi, I would use an AK-47 to murder you. He expressed his displeasure in writing to the police.
The Bishnoi gang reportedly threatened Salman Khan earlier, saying the star will “end up like Sidhu Moose Wala.” The suspect, Dhakad Ram, was detained and turned over to the Mumbai Police. He is a native of Luni in the Jodhpur area of Rajasthan.
