Sanjay Raut Takes A Dig At JP Nadda, Said – Wherever He Goes, BJP Losses, Welcome To Maharashtra…

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to Maharashtra. In such a scenario, Shiv Sena (Uddhav) party leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday took a dig at the results of the recently concluded Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023. Sanjay Raut said that BJP loses wherever Nadda goes. Reacting to his statement, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane accused Raut of targeting people holding constitutional positions and inciting the administration against the government. Rane claimed that these are all characteristics of urban Naxalites.

Actually BJP has faced defeat in Karnataka assembly elections and Congress has won massively. Sanjay Raut told reporters in Nashik that JP Nadda had tried to campaign for his party in Karnataka, but had lost. Now they are coming to Maharashtra, we welcome them. BJP loses wherever he goes.

Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra next year

Nadda is on a two-day visit to Maharashtra from Wednesday during which he will meet state BJP leaders. Maharashtra assembly elections are to be held next year. Targeting state assembly speaker Rahul Narvekar, Raut claimed that switching parties is his hobby as well as his profession. There is no party in the state of which he has not been a member.

In its verdict on the Shiv Sena controversy that led to the fall of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra last year, the Supreme Court on May 11 said it could not reinstate the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as he had decided to resign without facing a trust vote. Refusing to disqualify 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the Supreme Court said it cannot decide on disqualification petitions under the anti-defection law and directed Speaker Narvekar to decide on the pending matter within a ‘reasonable period’.

Constitution is being misused to subvert the rule of law

Asked about the possibility of issuing a notice to Shiv Sena MLAs, Raut claimed that the notice was sent by Narvekar and not by the Speaker. The way Narvekar has been talking to the media in the last few days shows that the Constitution is being misused to subvert the rule of law.
