The Nationalist Congress Party’s Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar factions will gather on Wednesday in the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in southern Mumbai and in Bhujbal Knowledge City in suburban Bandra, respectively.

According to representatives from both sides, the NCP national president Sharad Pawar has scheduled a meeting for 1 p.m., while the Ajit Pawar group, which has allied itself with the governing Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis administration, will meet at 11 a.m.

This will be the first gathering of all officials from both camps since the party split on Sunday as a result of Ajit Pawar and eight MLAs joining the Eknath Shinde administration, including Chhagan Bhujbal, Dilip Walse Patil, and Hasan Mushrif.

The majority of MLAs, according to both groups, are with them. Amol Kolhe, a Shirur-based Lok Sabha member who was present at the swearing-in event on Sunday, tweeted a day later that he was still committed to party chief Sharad Pawar.
