The Army Chief Is The Political Powerhouse Of Pakistan: Imran Khan

Former prime minister Imran Khan has said that the Army commander is the most influential figure in Pakistani politics and that everyone abides by his choices. He has also criticized the military establishment for working with the nation’s “corrupt mafias” to prevent him from regaining power.

On Friday night, Khan encouraged the populace to support the Supreme Court at a time when the “imported administration” is attempting to overthrow it while speaking to party supporters from his Zaman Park house.

“In Pakistani politics, the Army commander is the most influential figure. Everyone obeys his choices. To prevent my return to power, the military establishment is working with the corrupt mafia, the Sharifs and Zardaris, he said.

The transmission of the PTI leader’s remarks by the nation’s electronic media has been subject to a “undeclared prohibition” by the coalition government, which is run by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Khan said it would be a tremendous tragedy for the nation and expressed his grave worries on the divide in the Supreme Court.

“A Supreme Court split would be a terrible tragedy. I make a plea to the country to support the supreme court at a time when this foreign administration is working nonstop to damage its reputation.

The 70-year-old former cricketer-turned-politician stated, “Let me tell you… democracy in Pakistan is now hanging on a thread called Supreme Court and all those, who love democracy in the country, should stand with it.”

According to the PTI leader, the country must prepare to mobilize after Eid if the government does not cease plotting against the supreme court and refuses to carry out its judgment to conduct elections in Punjab on May 14.

He proclaimed, “I will lead this push from the front.”

Moreover, Khan warned the military establishment that it was no longer possible to compel a country to tolerate “corrupt leadership.”

“The elite should be aware that violent techniques do not work when a country rises. To quiet my party leaders and employees, torture and other extreme measures had previously been used, but they had no effect. And it won’t function again. He continued, “I want to inform them.

Khan, who was wounded by bullets following an assault on his rally in Punjab in November, reaffirmed that plans were being made in the country’s influential circles to have him assassinated.

He has previously accused the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, and senior ISI official Maj-Gen Faisal Naseer—whom Khan refers Pakistani as “Dirty Harry”—of being responsible for the attempt on his life.
