Arab influencer Amjad Taha remarked that Kashmir is India, and here is where the G20 would take place, referring to it as the “paradise on earth” and praising the beauty of the Union Territory.
It is referred to as “paradise on Earth,” a location that has shielded the planet from climatic change, the influencer remarked on Twitter. “here is India, and here is Kashmir, where the G20 will be held; this is not Switzerland or Austria. It is referred to as the “paradise on Earth,” a location that has protected the planet and may hold the key to reversing climate change. Amjad Taha tweeted on Saturday, “In Kashmir, we witness Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians all living in peace and enjoying their unique territory while contributing to global creativity and growth for the future.
If there is a paradise on earth, it is here. Famous poet Amir Khusrau famously said, “Agar firdaus bar roo-e zameen ast, Hameen ast-o hameen ast-o hameen ast.” Kashmir assures that despite the turmoil and the carnage, it’s pure beauty continues to fascinate people.
The third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting is slated to take place in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, from May 22 to 24, when India has the G20 president.
The Union Territory has developed significantly thanks in large part to the tourist sector. But years of unpredictability have hurt the travel and tourism sector, causing a drop in tourists.
The G20 Tourism Working Group conference in Jammu and Kashmir has the potential to unleash a tsunami of transformational effects and put the area on a new course for stability, economic expansion, and social advancement.
People in Kashmir who are directly or indirectly involved in the tourism industry think that the G20 summit would draw foreign investment and travelers.
They claim that it would provide Kashmir’s tourist industry a new dimension in addition to promoting Jammu and Kashmir on a global scale.
While several other ministries have completed their preparations, many others are still working on them in order to host the G20 conference in Srinagar.
There is also a schedule for the visit of delegations from 20 nations to Dal Lake and the city of Gulmarg. A sizable portion of it has already been cleaned, and work on the remaining portion is now in full swing.
Dal maintains its sanitary system all year round. However, some significant lake locations are being cleaned especially for the G20 summit.
Beginning on December 1, 2022, India will preside over the G20 organization for one year.
In the meanwhile, China said on Friday that it would not attend the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting in Jammu and Kashmir the next week because it opposes having any meetings in the “disputed territory.” China has maintained a strong position on this issue.
China vehemently rejects convening any G20 gatherings on disputed land. When questioned about multiple rumors circulating that China may boycott G20 talks scheduled in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Wang Wenbin, the spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said at a routine news conference that “We will not attend such meetings.”
In addition, China is a strong supporter of Pakistan, and there have long been tensions between India and Pakistan due to cross-border terrorism coming from Pakistan.
