Mumbai: Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday assured that the project victims in Mumbai will be given houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He has given such orders to the officials of the concerned department.
BJP leader MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar met Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis regarding various issues in his Kandivali East Assembly. Various topics were discussed in detail in the meeting held on this occasion. This assurance was given at that time. Fadnavis said that an alternative of Rs 25 to 40 lakhs will be made available to the project victims instead of houses. On this occasion, Bhatkhalkar said various constituencies

The Magathane-Goregaon 120 feet road in the special planning scheme was also discussed. He ordered the officials of the concerned department that this road should be completed in the next one to one and a half years. Once this road is completed, it will help to solve the problem of traffic congestion.

Deputy Chief Minister and Housing Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the project victims will be given houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Fadnavis has also given such orders in this regard. At the same time, if the project victims want monetary amount instead of houses, an option has also been put in front of them. Fadnavis said that the project victims will be given an option to pay an amount of Rs 25 to 40 lakh instead of houses.
MLA Bhatkhalkar thanked Fadnavis for resolving important issues in the constituency. Officials of various departments including Urban Development, Housing, Municipal Corporation, MHADA, Slum Rehabilitation, Shivshahi Rehabilitation were present in the meeting.
