The Mumbai-Pune Expressway has been in the care and maintenance of the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) for a considerable amount of time. The project is virtually finished, according to the official’s Tuesday announcement. According to the study, more over 65 percent of the work connecting Khopoli and Kusgaon has been completed. The second half will be completed quite quickly.
According to reports, the project would more than cut in half the time it now takes for tourists to travel between the two cities. The 19.80 km additional route lane is expected to be completed sometime in December, according to information provided by the MSRDC, and traffic may begin utilizing the newly constructed expressway at the beginning of the next year.
The highway between Mumbai and Pune has being accelerated. After some time, the accident rate on it began to rise. MSRDC devised a design and made the decision to build a new missing lane between Khopoli and Kusgaon in order to avoid accidents.
MSRDC believes the new lane would improve road safety for every commuter using the Mumbai-Pune highway as well as enable commuters complete the route on schedule.
