Threat Of ‘Serial Blasts In Local Train’ Received By Mumbai Police; Caller Arrested

The guy who called and said a series of explosions will occur in a city local train was taken into custody by Mumbai police on Sunday.This morning, the call was received by the Mumbai control center from the Vile Parle neighborhood of Juhu.

“A guy called the police control room and made a threat. The caller informed the police that there would be several explosions on a Mumbai local train. The caller claimed to be from the Vile Parle neighborhood before turning off his phone, according to a statement from the police.

The caller stated that he had hidden explosives on regional trains, according to a senior officer.

The call originated in Juhu’s Vile Parle neighborhood, according to the police’s investigation into the caller’s whereabouts.

The caller was later located and taken into custody in Juhu. He was recognized as Bihar resident Ashok Shankar Mukhiya.

The legitimacy of his threat is now being investigated.

The involved police station has been told to keep a close eye on the security measures.

This occurred the day after the Mumbai Police received a false bomb warning alleging the likelihood of an explosion or other unfavorable occurrence at the domestic and international airports of Mumbai and Delhi.
