In Maharashtra, 22 instances of Covid-19 were recorded on Monday, bringing the total to 81,68,425, according to a state health department data. Three people passed away in the past day as a result of viral illness complications, bringing the total number of fatalities in the state to 1,48,545, according to the department.
The state reported 75 instances the day before. There are currently 809 active cases in Maharashtra. On Monday, the Mumbai circle recorded the most brand-new instances (18), followed by three in Pune and one in Nashik. According to the health department, other areas including Akola, Aurangabad, Amaravati, Kolhapur, Latur, and Nagpur did not register any cases.
The government said that of the three fatalities, one occurred in each of the cities of Mumbai, Pune, and Satara. According to the data, 74 people were released from hospitals in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Maharashtra to 80,19,071.
In the state, the recovery rate is 98.17%, while the mortality rate is 1.81%. The state’s health agency said that 2,276 tests, including 1,668 in government labs, 570 at commercial labs, and 38 using self-testing kits, were carried out in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples evaluated to 8,70,97,380.
