A 50-year-old father, his son, and another person have all been detained by Mumbai Police in connection with the suspected honor killing of the man’s daughter and son-in-law. The police have also taken custody of the youngsters. An official police spokeswoman said that the event was reported on Tuesday.

Due to his dissatisfaction of his daughter’s marriage to Karan Ramesh Chandra, the accused, Gora Raeesuddin Khan (50), allegedly committed the murder in collusion with his son and the son’s associate.

Last Saturday, Chandra’s corpse was found in the Govandi suburbs. His wife Gulnaz had vanished, and suspicions regarding her whereabouts led to Gora Khan.

According to reports, Khan confessed to the crime, admitting that he had assisted in the couple’s murder since they had married against his better judgment.

Tragically, the corpse of Gulnaz was subsequently discovered in Navi Mumbai.

Gora Khan has been detained on suspicion of murder, along with his son Salman and Salman’s friend Kaif Khan. As investigations continue, they have been kept in police custody until October 27.
