Prior to the May 10 Assembly elections in Karnataka, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will speak at party rallies in Bhalki and Humnabad in the Bidar district on Monday.
AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, General Secretary responsible for Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewala, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and KPCC President D K Shivakumar are among the senior Congress figures anticipated to attend the event.
Currently serving as MLAs and the party’s candidates for the Bhalki and Humnabad Assembly seats, respectively, are former minister and KPCC Working President Eshwar Khandre and former minister Rajashekar B Patil.
Gandhi spoke at the “Jai Bharat” event on Sunday in Kolar, the same location from which he made the statement against the Modi last name, for which he was found guilty of criminal defamation and had his membership in Parliament revoked.
