Parbhani: The temperature has crossed 40 degrees in Parbhani district for the past few days. Similarly, an incident occurred in Sirsam village of Parbhani’s Gangakhed taluka where a brother who went on foot on Saturday afternoon to meet his sister fell down on the road due to dizziness in the sun and died of heat stroke. The name of the person who died of heat stroke is Manik Haribhau Kokre. Due to this incident, a mountain of grief has fallen on the Kokre family. A case of sudden death has been registered in the police on the basis of a complaint given by the relatives.
The information received in this regard is that Manik Haribhau Kokre, a resident of Sirsam in Gangakhed taluka of Parbhani district, had left for Undegaon on foot in the hot afternoon to meet his sister. However, as the temperature in Parbhani has been rising above forty degrees for the past few days, he collapsed on the road due to dizziness while walking in the sun in the afternoon. As it was afternoon, there was less traffic on the road, so the lambs remained in the sun. After the relatives got information that the lamb was lying on the road, they immediately rushed to the spot and admitted him to the Upazila Hospital at Gangakhed for treatment.
However, the medical officers at this place examined him and declared him dead and predicted that his death was due to heat stroke. After that, Manik Kokre’s postmortem was done and the body was handed over to his relatives late at night. Due to this incident, a mountain of grief has fallen on the Kokre family. In this case, on the basis of the complaint given by the relatives, a case of sudden death has been registered in the police and the police are investigating the incident further.
Meanwhile, as the temperature has risen well in Parbhani district, the health department has appealed to the citizens to take care of their health and not to step out of their homes in the afternoon. A few days ago, a person from Undegaon in Gangakhed taluka died due to heatstroke, so this has become the second victim of heatstroke in Parbhani district
