Travel From Mumbai To Madgaon In Eight Hours, Know Train Schedule And Fare

The 19th Vande Bharat Express of Indian Railways will make its debut from today i.e. 27th June. The semi high speed train will run between Madgaon and Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this train from Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) railway station through video conferencing.

This will be the first Vande Bharat Express for the state Goa and the fourth for Maharashtra. Vande Bharat Express will stop at seven railway stations during its journey between the two cities. These stations include Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavli and Thivim stations.

During the monsoon period, the train will depart from Mumbai on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the week, whereas, it will depart from Madgaon on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. However, after the end of the monsoon, this train will run on the track six days a week except Sundays.

The state’s first Vande Bharat Express train will cover a distance of about 586 kilometers in just eight hours. Other trains take around 11-12 hours to cover this distance. The Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity between the two states.

This new train will boost the socio-economic development of the region and provide safe and comfortable travel experience to the passengers. Through this train, trade and commerce will also get a boost in the state and the inclination of people towards tourism of the region can also increase.
