After the Odisha train accident, the incidents of sudden derailment of trains have increased. After the horrific accident in Odisha, now an accident has also happened in Madhya Pradesh. Although there is no news of any kind of loss of life or property in this accident, if this accident was a little more severe then there would have been a major destruction. This accident happened at Shahpura railway station in Jabalpur district. Here 2 tankers of a goods train carrying a gas tanker of Bharat Petroleum derailed.
As soon as the news of this accident was received, there was a stir in the railway department. Soon after the accident, Railway employees and officials reached the spot and took stock of the incident. It is being told that these tankers derailed while being kept for unloading. Meanwhile, the movement of trains on the main line was not affected. Train movement is normal. Unloading work was stopped after this accident.
Giving information on the matter, the CPRO of West Central Railway said that the movement of trains on any main line has not been affected due to the accident. He informed that the restoration work has been started on the morning of June 7 in the presence of siding officials. He told that after this accident, now the work is being executed very carefully.
