Who Is The Real Aurangzeb? BJP MLA Nitesh Rane Admits That Uddhav Has Damaged MNS Morale

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former chief minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray has come under fire from BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, who likened him to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and said that he and his group are tyrants who are “breaking the morale” of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

Rane has brought up several allegations of corruption in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which was then headed by Shiv Sena (UBT), and has always been in the forefront of criticizing both Uddhav Thackeray and the Shiv Sena (UBT).

Rane posted on social media, asking “Who removed six MNS corporators? Who made Balasaheb break up his relationship with Rajsaheb (Raj Thackeray)? Who killed Saheb’s other relatives? Now that he can see that going to prison is certain, he is talking about relationships. Who then is the true Aurangzeb? He was alluding to Uddhav’s politics, which had previously resulted in the removal of six MNS corporators and the alienation of the late Balasaheb Thackeray from his other family members.

Rane also said that Aditya Thackeray, the son of Uddhav Thackeray and a former minister in the MVA administration, may go to prison.

His remarks came after the Economic Offence Wing reportedly arrested former mayor and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Kishori Pednekar in connection with a corruption investigation. Rane said that Uddhav worries that Aditya may suffer the same fate as him and end up in prison.

Other members of Uddhav’s group, including as MP Sanjay Raut and Ravindra Wairkar, have spent time in prison before being eventually freed on bail. Anil Parab, an MLC for the Shiv Sena (UBT), has been wanted by authorities for a while.

Devendra Fadnavis, the BJP’s deputy chief minister, was recently the target of Uddhav Thackeray’s speech, which accused him of inciting “bitterness” in the state’s politics.
