Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings’ Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 first game may be derailed by Ahmedabad’s weather on Friday after both teams were forced to play inside on Thursday owing to unexpected downpours.
As the match begins at 7:30 PM IST on March 31 in Ahmedabad, there will be no clouds and 1% of precipitation, according to Accuweather. Thunderstorms are not anticipated. 23 degrees is probably the temperature.
On Thursday, as both teams were practicing at the Narendra Modi stadium, the rain gods unexpectedly let loose. This season, Kane Williamson, who will wear the Gujarat Titans colors, was seen jogging inside while carrying four bats. Also, other players hurried inside right away.
The CSK players could be spotted hiding inside the dugout as well. But, Gujarat’s head coach Ashish Nehra traveled back in time to take pleasure in the first raindrops.
It should be mentioned that the IPL 2023 game will immediately precede the opening ceremony. For both sides, winning the toss will be important.
