According to a Government Railway Police (GRP) officer, an inebriated Travel Ticket Examiner (TTE) reportedly urinated on a lady while riding the Akal Takht Express on Sunday.
he lady was travelling with her husband Rajesh Kumar, both coming from Amritsar.
According to a GRP officer, the incident took place on Sunday night in the A1 carriage of the Akal Takht Express as it traveled from Amritsar to Kolkata.
The TTE, named as Munna Kumar, a Bihar native, was grabbed by the passengers when they saw the lady making noise.
As soon as the train arrived at Lucknow’s Charbagh Railway station on Monday, the TTE was subsequently turned over to the GRP.
TTE has been taken into jail by the court.
A similar incident apparently happened on a flight a few months ago when a drunken guy allegedly urinated on the female passenger sitting next to him. An Indian worker in America named Shankar Mishra was later arrested and handed a 4-month flight restriction from Air India aircraft.
On another recent occasion, an intoxicated customer on an American Airlines flight from New York to Delhi peed on the passenger who was seated next to him. The traveler was then taken into custody at IGI Airport.
