Avoid eating junk food before donating blood. Leave the oily and spicy food about 24 hours in advance.
Donating blood should not be done by people who have an infection or are taking antibiotics.
If you have got tattoos recently, do not donate blood for about 6 months.
Do not donate blood if you have any blood related disease.
If your blood pressure is more than 180/100, you will not be eligible for blood donation.
