The Elon Musk-owned X announced two new membership options for its customers on Saturday. One of the options is the $16 monthly Premium Plus plan, which allows users to pay more to get the largest boost for their responses.

The firm has introduced a new “Basic” option for $3 a month that offers a little boost to your responses in addition to Premium Plus.

Presenting Premium+. The social network promised “access to our whole suite of creative tools, no adverts in For You or Following, and the highest boost for your responses (compared to other Premium tiers or unverified users).

Additionally, a new Basic tier that “gives you access to the most essential Premium features” was introduced by the site, and it costs $3 per month when registering online.

The two new subscription options are only accessible online; mobile users will get them at a later time.

Subscribers who choose the basic subscription, which does not get you a Blue checkmark, will only see a “small boost” to their responses.

The basic Premium plan for X is $8 per month.

CEO Linda Yaccarino of X has said that the typical user spends more than thirty-two minutes a day on the site.

Yaccarino said on Thursday that growth in “our video and community products” is the reason why users spend 7.8 billion active minutes on X each day on average.

The typical user on X these days spends over thirty-two minutes a day on the platform. We still receive over 1.5 million sign-ups per day on average,” she said in a blog post.

She went on to say that Community Notes is expanding and now has over 100,000 contributors from 44 countries.

Ninety of the top 100 ad spenders from a year ago were among the roughly 1,700 advertisers that returned to X, according to her. These advertisers ranged from tiny companies to huge brands.

X Corp has already paid artists around $20 million (more than Rs 166 crore) in an effort to keep them on the platform.
