The country’s largest municipal corporation BMC is going through a different kind of crisis these days. This is the danger of theft. BMC is not able to stop this theft even after trying and after all efforts. After all the efforts, when the theft is not stopping, the BMC has appealed to the people not to steal.

People are stealing glasses, spoons and plates from the canteen of the country’s largest municipal corporation. Let us inform that the budget of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation i.e. BMC is as much as the budget of any state, but nowadays it is troubled by the theft of utensils. Mr. Siddhivinay Caters, the agency providing service in BMC’s canteen, has put up a board saying that 6 to 7 thousand spoons have been stolen from the canteen so far. Along with this, 150 to 200 lunch plates, 300 to 400 breakfast plates and 100 to 150 glasses have been stolen.
Now after this theft, Siddhivinay Caters has put a board outside the canteen and appealed that people should not take out the utensils of the canteen. According to the information, BMC officials and employees order food and snacks in their office but they do not send the utensils back. It is being told that so far the canteen operator has suffered a loss of 40 to 50 thousand in the last 1 year due to the missing utensils.
