Mumbai man gets arrested on stabbing spree in residential building, kills 3, injures 2
A mentally disturbed Mumbai man stabbed 4 neighbours and injured another at a residential building near Grant Road station in on Friday afternoon.
As per a report by a news agency an officer said that After the incident, the accused locked himself inside a room in the building.The incident took place around 3.30 pm at Parvati Mansion on Grant Road.
The Culprit has been identified as Chetan Gala. D B Marg police have detained him and he has been reserved for murder among other charges under the Indian Penal Code. The wife and children of the accused had left him two months ago, and he doubted that his neighbours had instigated them, the official further informed.
A FIR at D B Marg police station under sections 302 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code was filed and further investigation is underway, the official added.
