After conducting many searches at various locations around the city, Delhi Police found 310 kg of cannabis in total and detained four suspects.
According to a Delhi Police official, three suspects were detained in connection with the initial operation in Burf Khana Chowk, Sabzi Mandi, New Delhi, and 20 kg of marijuana was found in their hands.
Sonu Kumar (age 25), Vivek Kumar (age 23), both inhabitants of the Bihar hamlet of Pura, and Mehboob Ali (age 52), a resident of New Delhi’s Gautam Vihar, were named as the accused.
Officials said that during the second operation, which was conducted in Delhi’s Shakurpur Village, police found 125 kg of marijuana.
According to the police, during the third operation at Dr. Bhimrao Basti, Khajoor Wali Gali, Ghonda Village, New Delhi, one guy was detained and 165 kg of marijuana were found in his hands.
The culprit has been identified by the police as Jitender Kumar (24), a local of Village Sehdabad in Bihar.
