In a horrifying event, a Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train passenger, assistant sub-inspector Tika Ram Meena, and three other passengers were shot and killed by a Railway Protection Force (RPF) policeman on Monday while they were on duty.
The incident happened within the B5 carriage of the Jaipur-Mumbai Superfast Express between Dahisar and Mira Road stops.
“In a regrettable event, ASI Tika Ram, the escort in charge of Train No. 12956 Jaipur-Mumbai Superfast Express, was shot by policeman Chetan Kumar. After killing his colleague, the policeman first detained passengers at gunpoint, according to a statement from Western Railways.
