A private bus collided with a street pole on Ghodbunder Road in this city on Friday night, injuring at least six people, according to a municipal official.
The bus was traveling from Ghodbunder to Thane, according to Yasin Tadvi, head of the emergency management unit for the Thane Municipal Corporation.
According to him, the wounded have been taken to a private hospital. According to news agency, Thane Municipal Corporation said that six people were injured in a bus accident on Pada Bridge. Those who have been admitted to the hospital. Four people died instantly in the incident, while two people succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
Three people have also been badly injured in the accident, while three people have suffered minor injuries. All of them are undergoing treatment at the hospital in Bhiwandi. According to the police, after the accident, the local people tried hard to save the injured.
