Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in Pune, Maharashtra on a two-day visit. During this, he held a meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Chandrakant Patil late on Saturday (05 August).
According to the information received from the sources, this meeting lasted for about two and a half hours and cabinet expansion was discussed. This meeting went on from around 10 o’clock in the night till 12.30 in the late night. Amit Shah reached Pune around 8 pm on Saturday night to participate in the program of the Cooperative Council.
Loksabha seats also reviewed
A review of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra was taken in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah in a meeting held late last night in Pune. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Chandrakant Patil and State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule were present in the meeting. Sources told that in the meeting, Amit Shah said that with Ajit Pawar joining the government, the alliance has become stronger in the Lok Sabha elections.
Amit Shah on two days tour
Earlier, Amit Shah reached Pune airport where he was received by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The program of the Cooperative Council is to be held on Sunday (August 06), in which he has reached Pune to participate. During this, he met with NDA leaders and brainstormed on 48 seats for the Lok Sabha elections.
Amit Shah will launch the digital portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) office in Pune on Sunday. Expressing firm faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sahakar se Samridhi vision, Ministry of Cooperatives has taken initiative to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country.
