On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed excitement about meeting Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in South Africa ahead of the BRICS summit, which is slated to take place from August 22–24.
The two presidents held a phone conversation on Friday when they addressed a number of bilateral matters, including using Chabahar Port to its full potential.
“Pleased to speak with Iranian President H.E. Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi yesterday,” Modi stated on channel X. We spoke about enhancing bilateral and regional collaboration, as well as using Chabahar Port to its full potential. Aside from the BRICS Summit, look forward to seeing President Raisi in South Africa.
