A 24-year-old Pakistani man who had been residing in Hyderabad for the last 10 months under a false name and an Aaadhar card was apprehended for illegally entering India with the assistance of his in-laws.
Faiz Mohammed, the male, was apprehended at the home of his Indian in-laws in Bahadurpura’s Kishan Bagh neighborhood.
His birth certificate was provided as identification documentation for the individual who was registered in the program under the name Mohammed Ghouse, his brother-in-law.
According to South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police P. Sai Chaitanya, Mohammed entered the country illegally from Nepal in November of last year and was staying at his wife’s home in Hyderabad at the time.
Speaking to News18, the DCP said that Faiz obtained assistance from his in-laws, Zubair Shaik and Afzal Begum, who met him at the border and transported him to Hyderabad.
Together with his wife, Neha Fathima, and their little kid, Faiz had been residing in the city.
The two had met while working in the UAE, and Neha is from Hyderabad. Since Neha returned to India in November of last year owing to health issues, the couple has been residing in Hyderabad since being married in 2020.
Faiz is accused of entering India without authorization and seeking to acquire Indian citizenship. The case names his father-in-law and mother-in-law as accused numbers two and three.
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the IPC and the Foreigners Act, a case has been filed against Faiz. Police said that his in-laws will also be detained and that he had been remanded.
A Pakistani passport and other papers were taken from his possession during an inquiry. Faiz is being questioned, according to the police, and further investigation is being done.
The police said in a statement that “we are taking this matter very seriously and will take all necessary action against those involved in illegal immigration.”

Online dating brought the pair together, but Seema’s family objected to their marriage in Pakistan after they fell in love. As a result, Seema and her kids crossed the border without authorization and were married in India.
In another instance, the Alwar area was home to the 34-year-old Anju, who was born in the Uttar Pradesh hamlet of Kailor. In 2019, she added the Pakistani national Nasrullah, 29, as a friend on Facebook.
In order to see Nasrullah, she crossed the Wagah-Attari border and traveled to a distant hamlet in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tribal region on a legitimate Pakistani visa.
Anju, a mother of two, wed Nasrullah on July 25 after converting to Islam. After Anju converted to Islam, a senior official at Moharrar City Police Station in the Upper district said that Nasrullah and Anju’s marriage was solemnized and a genuine nikah was conducted.
