From Rs 34 crore in 2022, tournament revenue substantially decreased to Rs 4 crore in 2023.
The firm stated having spent 222 crore rupees in total. Included in this were Rs 92 crore set aside for staff and team member compensation, Rs 50 crore in franchise fees, Rs 38 crore for tournament expenditures, and Rs 16 crore for administrative expenses. In comparison to the prior fiscal year, this statistic showed a substantial decrease.
This year’s Indian Premier League winners were Chennai Super Kings, who consistently outperformed the competition. They have won the championship five times, participated in ten championship games, and have made it to the playoff round twelve times.
In addition to their successes on the field, Superkings Ventures Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of CSKCL, has stated aspirations to concentrate on building cricket facilities. The creation of high-performance centers, cricket and sports academies, and training facilities for athletes and prospective cricketers are all part of this plan. The objective is to develop talent and uphold standards that are both national and worldwide.
